I've always thought it was kind of lame that the lodestone compass only gets an enchantment glint to let you know its not a normal compass.
Luckily, using the new item states (is that what it's called???) feature for resource packs, its now possible to have this in the base game without needing CIT mods!
Feel free to take this for your own pack. The texture is just a quick red recolor of the recovery compass, so I bet someone can make something cooler looking.
Later on, I am going to attempt to update this pack and make per dimension recovery compasses too, purple for the end and orange for the nether, if I can figure it out.
