Note! Conditions for armor and glow items to work:
1.17+ - this cannot be done on earlier versions;
No shaders - shaderpacks are incompatible with armor rendering and item glow;

You can still use the resourcepack, but without these features
The resourcepack is designed for the vanilla game and has no Optifine or other mods support.
The resourcepack includes models for aiming, running and reloading. You can use them in weapon plugins.

I would really like that pack if it would work. first I tried using it in 1.20. The commands didn't work the same was in 1.17.1 and 1.17 with and without lunar client and optifine. Do I need some sort of datapack? What am I doing wrong?

So you don't have any commands working?
I checked them. Turns out "minecraft:" can't be added to commands in singleplayer. I fixed them. Please, try it again
