![Mad Pixels for 1.17 [ x16/x64 ] Minecraft Texture Pack](http://i.imgur.com/1PeCm8h.png)
Make your Minecraft world more simple and cheerful with the Mad Pixels resource pack. It is a pack that can be used for any purpose - from adventuring to modern building.
Although at first it was just another small texture pack, over time this pack has turned into something much bigger than it originally was - all thanks to the community's support! Now there are two additional versions - 64x and 16x 3D. In 2022 I'm planning to release a higher resolution version.
Recommended to play with fancy textures enabled so the leaves won`t look bad. If you want to have Random Mobs and Connected Textures, you'll need to install Optifine. For the best views, you can use a shader pack.
• PROGRESS
This 16x and 64x versions are just about 100% done. The 16x version has Random Mobs and Connected Textures support.
The 3D version has plenty of blocks - mostly building blocks. This version will have updates, however it's not fully clear how many 3D models the full version will have.
16x 3D version can be downloaded here !
The history of Mad Pixels
This pack was inspired by my own resource pack called ''Sprightly pack'', which was released in the autumn of 2012. Sprightly pack was my first full resource pack - before that one, I had made a couple of unfinished resource packs, but they were really bad and I can't even remember how they were called. Overall Sprightly pack was a nice simplistic resource pack which received positive reviews, but sadly I stopped updating it since my focus went to other things.
Fast forward to the end of 2014 - I had an idea of making a new resource pack. I was inspired by my own Sprightly pack. That's when the idea of Mad Pixels was born. Fun fact: at first I wasn't sure how to call it, I was considering two names: Mad Pixels or Juicy Pixels. You already know which one I chose.
You might want to ask me, why I didn't just update the Sprightly pack. The reason is, that pack didn't really have one certain style. I wanted Mad Pixels to have all of the textures in the same cartoony style. I borrowed several textures from the Sprightly pack, so a lot of the textures that you know today are actually a lot older than you think. Long story short, I made most of the textures during the December of 2014 and released it on January 2015.
It was nice to see my pack receive positive feedback and reach the popular reel in the first day. None of my other submissions were that successful, so I was motivated to make more updates. So I updated it until spring, when it was practically 100% complete.
In 2016 I returned to update this pack, and I also made a 64x version. It required a lot of work, but I was quite motivated and I really liked the idea of a higher resolution Mad Pixels, so that's how I got to release it.
This story isn't fully complete yet; I might add some pictures and paragraphs soon.

Alternative textures
There`s a folder inside the "textures" folder called "alternatives". You can replace my official textures with those if you want. If you found an alternative texture that you like, just put it in the right folder and give it the right name or it won`t work.
• VERSION SUPPORT
Supports Minecraft 1.17. It will be updated to 1.18. I'm planning to make a Bedrock version soon too.

• NOTES
All of the textures are made by myself.
This is the one official page of Mad Pixels. You can see this pack appearing on some other websites - however, it wasn't posted to any of those by me. But I'm okay with this pack being popularised by other people.
You are not allowed to:
-use my textures without my permission.
-upload remixed versions of this resource pack
Thanks!
Also, big thanks to:
-the people who reported problems
-everyone who supported and motivated me to update this pack
You guys helped me a lot.
