podria meter las texturas dentro de una carpeta y esa carpeta introducirla dentro del cit y seguiria funcionando el paquete ?

si, y si ocurriera algún problema solo habría que agregar la dirección de ubicación en el archivo .propertie
Puedes ver ejemplos en mis otros paquetes de visual echantments donde tengo todo ordenado por carpetas jeje
