As I browsed Planetminecraft, I saw users post their own custom main menus for others to enjoy. I also saw ones that resembled the "original" or "classic" Minecraft title screen that I remember growing up with in 2013. Unfortunately, I didn't see any one that was blurred! "Why hasn't anyone made a menu that looks like the original?", I thought. I decided to make the 1.8 title screen, and share it with you guys!
Another reason I made this resource pack is because I personally didn't like the menu background in 1.16. It was the Nether, and I simply didn't like it.
I borrowed the 1.8 menu images from Nixinova (A link to his/her profile can be found below). I applied a gaussian blur to all six images in Photoshop, and made the resource pack from there.
If you're curious how to make your own custom title screens, I recommend watching this video:

Installation:
Open File Explorer > Type "%appdata%" in the address bar > open the ".minecraft" folder > open the "resourcepacks" folder > Insert the file (Copy/Paste)
Compatibility:
I've only tested this resource pack for Version 1.16.4. I expect the pack to work for other versions of Minecraft however. Let me know if otherwise.
