This is a Texture Pack based off the game Minetest. I will update this texture pack to change things I haven't done yet or when someone wants something changed when ever I can get a chance. Let me know how I can improve it!

The textures are freely licensed[1], but for some of them, you must give attribution (that is, tell who did what in a credits file, which can be put at the root of the texture pack) and keep the resulting work under the same license (eg. if you recolour a texture which is under CC BY-SA, it must stay under CC BY-SA).

So, if you do it properly, it is perfectly legal and even encouraged.

On the subject of the pack, ingot and diamond textures were recently renewed.

Okay, thankyou for clarifying because that is what I thought. I talked to the previous owner of Minetest and he said the same thing. He gave what I need to give proper credit, I just haven't it yet because I haven't been on in a couple months. I'll try to do it soon though

I believe that if you only copied over the textures created by the Minetest developers you'll need to ask permission before bringing it here. Also, this should have been put into your "Pre-Release of Minetest" post rather than a new one (site rules).

I wouldv'e asked permission to copy what I did, however, I wouldn't know where to go to do that. And besides, of all the things I did change, probably less than 35% was directly coppied from minetest because minetest has so few items in comparison to Minecraft, and of those few items, a lot of them don't even exist in minecraft. The other 65% of what I've changed so far was done completely by me, from scratch. And I added so much more so that it wouldn't be a complete replica of minetest and so that there would be more than 20 new blocks included this resource pack.  And I left the Pre-Release one because most of it is completely different from this one; there are only a few blocks that are the same, atleast from what I remember.

If you don't have permission, don't post it. No buts. Also, this is relatable to if you were to take, lets say, Jolicraft and draw over some of the textures to make them look different (but still have some of the original) or put a filter over them then post it to PMC. It's still against the rules. Lastly, If it's an updated version of the pack, it goes it the same post. Read the rules before submitting.

Okay, well I'll email whoever is in charge of minetest tomorrow and if they say they don't want it on here then I'll take it down from this website. But if they say it's alright, I'll put the proof of it wherever the guidelines say I should. And I'll take down the pre- release one soon, I'll just replace it with another texture pack I've been working on when I finish it.

Okay, if they don't respong within a week you should take it down anyway. Otherwise it'll be removed by force and you might be temp-banned. Also, you aren't allowed to just change the texture pack a post is using. Just read the rules already.

Thanks, I'm glad you like it :) And if you want to give a post a diamond, you go to the left, right above the slideshow of pictures presented and you should see a diamond with a number under it, then you just push the diamond
