I believe that the salmon in Minecraft do not look as accurate to their real-life counterparts.
Which is why I made a new model and texture for the salmon, based off the Spawning Sockeye Salmon.
I think it looks a lot more accurate. Let me know what you think.

Sure, I'll try. Right now I'm working on making the colors different based on the biome, like for example, river salmon will have spawning colors (red), and ocean salmon will have the silver color. Once I finish up that, I'll try to update it to the latest version.
