MrMelonBagel's Vanilla Tweaks (Or "Vintage" as I've dubbed it) is a rehaul of the entire minecraft experience to flavor the game (via optifine and otherwise) with mob variants, vanilla tweaks to those pesky texture inconsistencies, additions in textures, changing of GUI and font, and much more in order to liven up the game and allow you to play a game of minecraft that just feels more "Minecrafty". This texture pack does make use of many of Jappa's beautiful early experimental 1.12 textures -and some modern- but is comprised of textures I myself have made from scratch. This pack has been in development for 3 years now and I have finally gotten to the point where I feel comfortable uploading it for public use. In light of this, things like the consisten spectral arrow entity may seem kinda 'meh' but go back a year and seemed pretty smurt. This pack does require optifine if you seek to enjoy secret textures, mob variants, and more but you do not have to use optifine for all the texture packs main features.
Some small changes include name changes such as Blackstone blocks to "Witherstone" and Enchanted Golden Apples to "Notch Apple".
There are acute particle changes (Non come to mind atm).
Advancements have been reverted back to Achievements.
A handful of advancements have been changed, an example being Hot Stuff to "Hot Topic".
A handful of status effect textures have been changed.
Addition of old minecraft sounds such as the classic Steve "oof" damage and the nostalgiac old explosion.
There are many more changes both minor and major made to enhance the minecraft experience, merging select choices from Dungeons and Earth, but mostly textures of my own designs. All-the-same, I hope many come to enjoy and love it as much as I have come to love making it and enjoy using it every time I play minecraft.
