All you need is a photo editing program like gimp get it from here http://sourceforge.net/projects/gimp-win/files/GIMP%20%2B%20GTK%2B%20%28stable%20release%29/GIMP%202.6.11%20%2B%20GTK%2B%202.16.6/gimp-2.6.11-i686-setup-1.exe/download

open minecraft.jar (which is in .minecraft/bin) with 7-Zip get it from here http://www.7-zip.org/download.html

then drag the folder that you want to change out into a compressed zip folder change the pictures with gimp then upload the you are done. *gasp* *gasp*
