This resourcepack adds custom textures for items with stored NBT data.

Use Ctrl + Pick block on a block to get its stored data.

Requires OptiFine.

If you still care, there is a resource pack available on Vanilla Tweaks that was added pretty recently, and that does exactly that (it is in the "parity" section and is called "Bedrock Map").

Having looked at it, I don't think that is an actual issue, but that the "Locked" word under the name is not stored in the lore of the item (that would be my guess). I may be wrong, but I think that locked state of the map is not stored with the item, but with the world file, where all the map files are stored. That probably means it is impossible.

Either that, or it is a genuine issue, in which case I hope it gets fixed soon.

I'll try to do this, but it is mainly due to minecraft rendering things weirdly when viewed directly from the front in the GUI. I also want to avoid adding new textures and instead use the already existing vanilla ones, so that there is compatibility with other resource packs.
Nice suggestion though, maybe I will do 4.1 by later today or tomorrow.

I understand, but my logic is that it is open as if you can see what's inside. Plus, the default state is closed, so the logical thing to do for the NBT item is the opposite: open. (The same goes for the chest)

Conduit should be open

Enchanting table should have a book on it
Lectern should Also have a Book on it



Bed is difficult, maybe a spawn egg?
Jigsaw, you should use this (minecraft gamepedia)
don't banners already have patterns?

Thanks for the feedback!

I have already tried making an open conduit in Blockbench, but there is no built-in template for it, like for other entities, and I struggled to get the animated texture and correct orientation and alignment. The model for the book seems quite confusing, but I should manage to get the lectern and enchantment table icons done by the next update.

I am already working on the bed - the NBT item has Steve sleeping in it. Kinda cursed but I like it.

For the jigsaw, I don't entirely understand what you mean with that link. I'm not sure what to do to make the jigsaw item actually visually different, as it has no blockstates other than orientation.

Banners aren't such an important addition to the pack, but I feel that I should make the item look different in model at least just for consistency (similarly with the bell - no extra data is actually stored when you Ctrl + Pick block)

As for the additions, cauldrons aren't tile entities in Java Edition (they are in BE), so they have no NBT data (neither is farmland). Maps are just entities, and map items would use a different system. If you want a pack like that, check out Visual Cartography by CisuLog. (I already added the hopper.)

This is a list of tile entities that I'm using to keep track of what items I can do.
