Minecraft's raw copper is mostly oxidized with a few oxidized spots, same for the ores. Quite a few people have pointed out that this isn't realistic, so I made a resource pack that makes raw copper fully oxidized. This does not apply to the ingots or blocks, just raw copper, raw copper blocks, and the ores.

i'ma roll some science into this one chief, one thing to point out, copper when not exposed to oxygen will keep the "copper" look as long as it keeps away from oxygen

I have an alternate version that has no oxidation on my PMC page, however it’s probably less scientifically-accurate than this one.
