Ever since the inception of Minecraft, the tilde ("~") has been placed in an annoying and weird to look at position (above other characters)

Minecraft's cope for this has been to indicate that the tilde is used to tell an "up" position relative to the current player; like "~3 ~3 ~3" is 3 blocks to the east, 3 blocks up, and 3 blocks to the north. This is stupid and makes no sense. I hate that it did this. so out of spite I spent 20 minutes out of my day fixing it and writing this post so I could get clout on the internet. Enjoy!
