This resource pack replaces the default held/mounted map texture with one which has magenta-tinted background. Its purpose is to help players more easily distinguish between unexplored areas and explored sandy areas.

A few months ago, somebody made a request in the Minecraft subreddit for a resource pack that made the unexplored areas of maps more visually distinct from explored sandy areas, so that they could more easily spot areas that they hadn't filled it. I made this resource pack for them, and then decided to post it here for anyone else who might find it helpful.
