Realistic Monster damage:

When monsters are damaged, it shows different texture of mobs, making them look like they have been in a fight. Multiple texture for each mob, with around 260 unique textures.

Another step I want to do: making everything look better (if I am ever going to actually work on it :D )

Also, if you have any idea how to make it better, go ahead and write it in comments! I am looking for anything to make it better.

Optifine requied!

Make sure to have Options.. -> Video settings.. -> Quality.. -> Custom Entity Models AND Random Entities turned ON. It is not going to work properly with this turned off.

Faithful or other similiar 32x32 pack recommended

In case of any problem with it, write it down to the comments.

1.0.1 (10.12.2021): Updated to minecraft version 1.18
1.0.0 (16.7.2021): Fixed broken enderman texture, edited spider textures, added cave spider, slime, guardian, elder guardian, endermite and silverfish. Now, it has all monsters that are not bosses and are hostile (+ enderman) except for vexes. With this, 100% of mobs I wanted to do is finished. Finally.Later updates will try to make everything look even better, go ahead and write what would you make better!
0.5.1 (9.6.2021): Updated game version to 1.17
0.5.0 (27.5.2021): Added in total 420 variants of zombie villagers to include all professions and models. Because they are connected to normal villagers, I also included them here, so it doesn't look weird after curing him. (they does not include those special texture variants) Number of textures is less than 420 because minecraft combines them together based on profession, profession level, biome and basic texture. (so only 0,3MB more on that) Also fixed small mistakes.
0.4.0 (25.4. 2021): Big update adding all nether & end mobs. Changes: Changed name from Realistic mob damage to Realistic monster damage. Mob added: hoglin, zoglin, wither skeleton, piglin, piglin brute, zombified piglin, blaze, magma cube and shulker, fixed small mistakes
0.3.0 (29.3.2021):Added custom model and/or textures for husk, drowned, stray and zombie villager. Fixed levitating part of the body for skeleton. Zombie villager still has not-changed clothing, will be added later.
0.2.0 (28.2.2021):Updarted texture and model for enderman (they now have different texture for arms and legs, not same for everything) + added new models and textures for pillager, vindicator, evoker and ravager (10 textures in total due to huge health) Now, There is exacly 1 stack of custom textures!
0.1.3 (19.2.2021): Updated zombies, they now have custom model with12 options of custom damage. (hand missing, brain visible, half of hand is cut...). Also Updated witch, it now has option to have nose cut out.
0.1.2 (8.2.2021): Hopefully fixed wrongly showing spider texture showing just for somebody
0.1.1 (28.1.2021): Updated spiders, they now have custom model with 6 options of custom damage to legs. (leg missing or bleeding)
0.1.0 (25.1.2021): created pack, currently supports zombies, skeletons, creepers, spiders, witches and endermans with no custom models, textures only.

It took me too much time to make to redo it for 16x16. I know that a lot more people are using 16x16, but not me, and as I myself wouldn't use it, I don't really want to spent time on that. So no, it will probably never be on 16x16.

what do you mean fake? Everything I shown here is also in-game. They spawn with normal texture, as they have full health, but after hitting them, they will start having blood or for example missing head or hand. Those photos are all real screenshots from my testing world. Don't forget that you need optifine and then Custom Entity Models and Random Entities turned on.

it will override textures of those monsters. As far as I know there is no way to only add something on different texture from different pack. But, other than those mobs, you can have whatever resource pack for rest of the stuff.

Well, I started with 32x32 because I am using 32x32 pack, along with some of my friends including one, who inspired me to do this. Some other people wanted this too, but they were using 16x16 pack so I thought I would just edit some textures to make second "quick" pack to 16x16, but this 32x32 took a lot longer then I expected, and I still want to work on it a bit, so even that I thought I would do it after finishing 32x32 and I think it is even written here in comments, I am currently not planning to start remaking it to 16x16 any time soon, as I would not use it on my own, so it would be just for other people and it is just too slow to make.

Saw there was an update, thought I'd take a look.
I agree with others that most of it looks like blobs of paint, but I still love the concept.
I'm gonna download it, as at least I do like the slime. The server I play on has a dungeon boss that is a giant slime, so this should fit if I remove the other mobs.
Does it work on percentages?
