Resourcepack that adds custom tree type - Red Cedar. Only for creative use (mostly because this wood replaces dark oak). Originally this resourcepack was needed for minecraftsuggestions subreddit post.






Red Cedar is tree for badlands biome, and I tried to make it look wild-westish.

you can change the name of all the file from dark_oak into acacia

hey, I saw your post on reddit some weeks ago, well done for the block textures!

also, I personally think that acacia trees and small versions of dark oak trees should generate in badlands as well (the oak trees shouldn't be removed though, but instead generate alongside them). imo, these would look great alongside red cedars in a Wooded Badlands.

You should make this have OptiFine ctm so it only replaces dark oak in badlands biome.

That's a neat idea! But I think there's too many players that play without optifine (like 70% of my friends playing with sodium), but I'll make version of resourcepack with this feature
