Reforged Mobs Minecraft Texture Pack


About




As Mojang has been slowly remastering the default textures of the game, they seem to have left some stragglers behind, Reforged Mobs aims to fix that. By giving mobs with ancient textures a new look which builds upon their pre-existing ones, sometimes rethemeing textures fully like with the Guardian and Elder Guardian or giving a mob a "remaster" of sorts, like with the Ghast. I've put particular care into making the textures fit with the vanilla gamewhile bringing consistency to the game.




No Optifine or EMF required, this mod doesn't change any models.







Features




The resource pack currently features new textures for:

  • Ghast
  • Witch
  • Enderman
  • Creeper
  • Blaze
  • Shulker
  • Guardian (and Elder Guardian)
Other planned mobs are the Silverfish and Endermite.



The pack is likely not compatible with any animation or model changing packs like Fresh Animations.

I'm happy with them, the Ghast has a fitting emotion, and the Guardian is meant to be more golem like. And for the Enderman I went with a more alien look.

I see, we just think they could be refined. Ghast face can be smaller and guardian texture could be polished. Maybe add elder guardian too. We prefer the vanilla enderman eyes, but we appreciate the direction.

There is an Elder Guardian, I just don't have a screenshot of it. And I wanted the Ghast to have a big face specifically to portray the sadness.
