This is a soundpack centered around changing the atmosphere of Minecraft with sound only. It started as a small pack to change a few sounds that I thought were annoying, but then became a challenge to see how many sounds I could change.

Many of the important sounds are changed, but most mobs aren't yet. The video above is a sample of some of the sounds, but they might sound a bit better ingame. I would appreciate it if you could give some feedback and let me know what sounds you like and don't like. I"m not against changing sounds, but I think I'm happy with them for the most part.

This pack should be backward compatible several versions (despite the ingame warning) but I don't know exactly how far, I think 1.9 or so.

If any youtubers want to make a showcase, I'd be happy to put a link to the video on this page. Just put a link to this page in the description.

I've been made aware that volume isn't scaling properly with distance, that is, the volume of blocks and mobs always play at the same volume no matter how far away the player is. I believe I have fixed most if not all of the sounds that have this problem, so let me know if you encounter any more problems.

except the walking on the grass sound, it's my favourite soundpack so far! I wish you could continue to update this masterpiece.

God Bless you for this sound pack.

The sound of wood and stone breaking is a bit overwhelming with instant mining but other than that everything is superb.

Pairs well with good rustick packs to give Minecraft a really new feel

Thank you! I do still want to work on the sounds somewhat, but I don't know when I'll have time to get back to it.

Sorry for the late reply, but all you need to do is drag the zipped file into your resourcepacks folder. Press the Windows key and the "R" Key at the same time. It should bring up a little window. Type in %appdata% in the box. Press enter or click OK. that will open file explorer or something. look for the .minecraft and then the resourcepacks folder and put my resourcepack there.

It is compatible with forge and all versions 1.14.

I love the updated version of this mod but there are some things that should be tweaked like how when you're chopping down a tree you'll hear a faint ringing noise (it's only a bothersome if you start noticing it), cave noises, spiders (I think?) and the sounds for when you're jumping in water.

Despite those complaints, I still really like this mod and makes minecraft feel a bit refreshing.

The experience sounds and item plopping/obtaining needs distance mixing as well because if a player far away in multiplayer levels up or gets an item you hear it too

I'm loving this so far, about the only complaint I have is that the sounds for placing and breaking wooden blocks sounds loud and hollow, breaking down trees and planks sounds like smacking a dried bamboo rod and it doesn't feel nor sound right.
