This is my first Texture pack, I designed it to not only make things look more interesting, but to make things more challenging. During the day an eclipse blocks most the sunlight, night times are dark, custom item names, there are custom sounds, and torches flicker as well.
To use the full functionality of this resource pack, Optifine or MCpatcher is required, i'd recommend optifine due to its performance boost and extra video options.

Story behind this Resource Pack:
One day.. an eclipse started.. and upon it.. an evil gaze of red eye's, watching us always. The first day.. things seemed normal.. the next day.. a great wave of fire scorched the world.. behind it a legion of many demons rampaged, ready to spread pain and destruction wherever they may.. poisoning lakes.. rivers.. ponds.. even oceans. This fire was not just any fire... it was purple.. some materials it burned.. some it scorched.. but everything organic became tainted.. growing erratically, changing in color.. even animals succumbed to the taint.. somehow retaining their original goals.. but never shall they look the same again.. for their eye's glow.. and their fur is singed from this evil force.. This day became known as "The Reign of Shadow" , no one knew how else to explain the strange effects it had on our world, and when this evil force.. of purplish flame.. had finished changing the world as we know it.. it left behind its legion of demons.. scattered all over the surface.. they purge all life.. all that is good, all that gives us hope of seeing the world as it once was, and the great flame seeped through the cracks of our world.. tainting and scorching all.. finally, towards the portal it went.. the portal to the other dimension.. one that no man ever wanted to enter.. And it resides there.. even now.. forever turning the other dimension from red to a purplish.. grim look.. It is up to you to survive in this world.. and to find the source of this evil.. for even in dark times there is always hope of seeing the world as it once was.
