The Sea Pickle, when as an item in one's inventory, uses the texture of the placed pickle from the side. This resource pack gives the Sea Pickle a unique item texture in the style of the other Minecraft items. For such a simple thing, you guys have loved it, thanks!

Firstly, just because you see something on the internet somewhere first doesn't mean all other times you see that thing are copying form the one you saw first.

Secondly, this resource pack was uploaded 6 months ago, in July!, whereas the Vanilla Extract site only went up on the 24th December.
How do I know that?

I'm part of the Vanilla Extract texture team and I contributed this pack to it so people can access it on that platform.

Yeah, but wouldn't it not make sense for the pickle in your inventory to be an oval, and when you place it down it's square? I really like that texture tho, nice work!

theres a lot of items that do that; cauldrons, brewing stands, beds (before they got the 3d model), cakes, lily pads, etc
