📚 About

This resource pack updates the font texture. My main goal was to make text feel more fantasy-esque and in-line with the fantasy, magical, and medieval nature of Minecraft! I think it's also a little bit more human and legible.

It makes the text a tiny bit wider than default.

The new texture also makes use of semi-transparent pixels for anti-aliasing. I've never seen any resource pack do this in the font texture before, but in my testing I've encountered no issues. Still, you might find that some mods might perhaps not display text quite correctly.

This pack does not (yet) support diacritics/accents.

Can I use your font in my texture pack? It's obviously not for comercial use, I won't ever make any money out of it and the texture pack is for Minecraft Beta 1.7.3. I want to share it online.

hi the semi-transparent pixels show up as fully transparent on signs, meaning i can see thru the sign in some tiny spots in the text lol

that's the weirdest bug i have ever heard of. What mods and version are you using? I have not encountered that issue in vanilla.

haha it truly is. im on 1.20.1 using optifine and get this bug even if i remove my shaders and other resource pack. super weird, ive attached a screenshot below but lmk if it didnt work:

of course it's optifine. The amount of incompatibilities that mod causes is insane. You should use Sodium instead
