history
no, this is original work. last I knew, vanillatweaks required using reserved unicode characters, this pack makes use of the unicode private use area, meaning it won't cause any issues with special characters or non-ascii languages.

also maybe you should add saturation points for food?
I think how much food points the food gives is pretty well known, but the saturation not so much, since its not shown anywhere
I know there are texture packs that already do that but you can make a little golden outline around the food to show saturation, and if saturation > hunger points (golden carrots for example) then you can add full golden hunger points after the normal ones
but even without saturation this is very nice, thank you :)

Thanks for the feedback, I plan on adding saturation in a future release, as well as other things in a similar vein ;)
