Honestly this is just a silly little pack I made that turns the vanilla swords into shortswords. Their names have been changed, and their guards are a bit smaller. That's literally it. They haven't even changed in length, it's just the names and guards. I liked it so I figure you may as well.

I don't get it. Why would you name the pack "Shorter Swords" if didn't make them shorter. That's just confusing

when i see default swords compared to the custom ones i code, they look like shortswords. so i changed their guards accordingly to make them seem a bit smaller, but no the length hasn't changed. i do not care.

I'm not sure what you're talking about. The only differences are guards and names

In what way are the swords longer than the default vanilla texture pack swords? Compare them in a photo editor or anything of that sort and you will see that they are the same length, as said by the author. It's even weirder to see that an author like you (with some awesome packs) comment this.

That being said, I am pretty sure SajNinja_PMC referred to the shortened crossguard on the sword, giving a feel that the sword is shorter. Also, shortswords generally have a smaller crossguard, which means that the description is accurate. I suppose because the guards being smaller can make it seem longer, but the author was correct.
