This is my new GUI pack based on The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Hope you enjoy! Feel free to do a review on YouTube as long as you link back here in the description. I also would appreciate it if you could send me a link to said video when it's done too. This is my first 32x pack (yay). I also added special enchanting particles to this one (yay again).

                                                          Thanks, Hobbes :)

It would be nice if you could add some sort transparency to the gui so it's not a solid black :D

I think you can, you just need to set the opacity of the black area down, i know you can do this in Photoshop easily but not sure about other programs. Then again i'm not certain i just found an answer like that on the net

Just took a look and it's quite interesting :D

Though it really wouldn't match well with the default resource pack but still good nothertheless!

Minecraft definitly supports transparency.
The question is if the support applies to the gui you modify.
Best would be to simply try it, then you'll know more.

Yeah it only works in certain areas. In my experience it doesn't seem to work for the ingame menus, but it does work for buttons, and the hotbar.

Creating a mod that enables it is really easy tho.
Maybe that'd be an idea :) - it also won't cause issues with other mods.
