Slang Lang

This texture pack changes the names of items from their default names to their "common" names. For example, the Enchanted Golden Apple has been changed to Notch, the Ender Chest has been changed to e-Chest, the enchant names have been simplified, and the death messages have been simplified. Also, to be more consistent and accurate, Steak has been changed to Cooked Beef. I also made leather armor naming more consistent, as well as removing the suffix "ingot" from most items. To see the list of every change, simply open the en_US.lang file to see every item name that has been changed.
Here's a small list of some changes:
Pickaxe→Pick
Wooden→Wood
Golden→Gold
Steak→Beef
Potion→Pot
Golden Apple→Gap
Obsidian→Obi
Chainmail→Chain
Enchanted Golden Apple→Notch
Protection→Prot
Sherd→Shard

I used AnyLAnguage, VScode, and Bridge to make this. I also used Bedrock Tweaks for the pottery sherd renaming.
Unfortunately, this pack is only available in English.
I probably won't be doing a java port anytime soon bc java uses .json language files instead of .lang files, so I would have to redo the entire thing from scratch. (1.8.9 uses .lang files, but java also has different translation keys than bedrock.)
