snouts! modifies some of minecraft's mob models and textures, primarily to look more like their real-world counterparts, or to look like other real-world animals.
this is an alternate version that does not require optifine.


snouts! is presently is in its alpha stage, meaning many features are undeveloped.
this variant of the mod only modifies hoglins and zoglins, and works in vanilla clients.
please see the primary mod page if you want more modifications.

current features
  • modifies hoglins to have rich brown fur, and more subtle colors.
  • modifies zoglins to look like hoglins, as well as making their rot bluegrey instead of bright green






installation && compatability
1) download snouts! - hogs only
2) move snouts! to appdata/.minecraft,/resourcepacks
3) launch the game, and go to settings -> resource packs, and enable snouts! - hogs only

this mod has only been tested for minecraft java 1.19.2, but should be backwards compatible. if you use it on another version, please let me know whether it works!
