This pack changes the colour of blocks to show which blocks are potential spawnable spaces for mobs. it uses block-light and not skylight so you can see to light up your outdoor world in the day and it'll be safe at night.
I couldn't find a 1.14 version that worked this way so I made this.
Blocks given a colour are potential spawnable spaces; green for light level 7 and below, till 1 and 0 (blue and purple respectively) which i found useful for showing the next spot to place a light source to get complete coverage with minimal number of light blocks. it also has an additional red band in the nether showing the light levels blaze can spawn at in fortresses (11 and below)

lol, optifine just gives so many options for things that can be done cause it gives resource packs access to attributes in the code that they can't usually touch (or at least not without a lot of effort)

honestly i'd love an item or potion that gave this vision as an effect in the vanilla game. when 1.15 optifine comes out i'll check if this is compatible and update it if it is not (i'll want to use it myself when 1.15 optifine is out)

i haven't yet made an official 1.15 version, i plan to do so when optifine is out of preview versions, although in the current 1.15 optifine previews this 1.14 version still functions as expected.

It doesn't work for me. Do I have to toggle an option in optifine in order to make it work ?

custom colours in the quality settings need to be on, (it is on by default so i didn't mention it b4)
