Hello friends,
Another texture pack from SRD, this "Turn of the Century" is a pack created for a Gray Scale Challenge, that uses only 6 shades of gray for EVERYTHING!!!! (trust me this was a real pain for me :D )
I became nostalgic and tried to make this pack reflect memories of old gameboy/atari games. So hopefully this feeling of nostalgia will rub off on you or your gonna get the experience of what your parents had to deal with as kids (depending on your age bracket XD)
I only ask that you seek permission from me before creating remix packs for public use. I don't mind and in fact encourage taking in game screenshots and video. I would enjoy to show it off.

I seen you resurrected your challenge! I'm hoping the GSCv2 goes spectacularly! (maybe see some serious HD stuff!)
Unfortunately, the challenge seems to have died already. People lost interest too quickly.
Yeah... I haven't finished the new objects introduced in 1.5 for this pack yet. I will be getting on it after I finish the GUI in Chromatose. I usually have used this pack as a test pack to understand the various pixel zones and how they relate to derivative objects; like the fence and other curiously coded things Mojang gave us.
I'm also in the middle of redoing the ores, trying for a more traditional item look.
There are some things also I think that are limited in MCPatcher's Custom Colors so far as I know like holding branches... could also be some biome thing I'm unawares of, I'll give it a look.
I'll probably use this pack as the experiments for all the armors and mobs anyways to see how to build one up.
