it can because it changes the aqmount of different colours the computer has to load!

I don't think that a texture pack can reduce lag (as much as i wish it could :*( ) If anything, it would make more lag.

I HAS A SAD.

You think it will create more lag, but you did not clarify the reason as to why you stated such an opinion. So at this present moment I query that comment, please clarify.

well, all the reloading chunks with the new textures is kinda hard. especially for a dude who plays minecraft on a netbook >_<

I used to play on a netbook and changng a texture doesnt make more lag if thger is less colours then it reduces it and it wud have to load the textures anyways. U can change them. It doesnt have to have default. It just loads from a pic so it doesnt make more lag. :D
