The official texture pack of the Metal Rain server! 1.4.5 compatible
This is a beta texture pack that I was asked to do. It's also my first texture pack, so constructive criticism will be very appreciated. I have only modified a handful of objects, many of which I'm planning to redo anyways. Those items are:
- All the ores
- Wooden door
- Iron Door
- Redstone torch on/off
- Normal torch
- TNT
- Dirt
- Grass block
- Stone
- Glass (redone, less white outline)
- Oak Wood Planks
- Cobblestone
- Oak logs
- Bedrock
- Obsidian
- Snowy grass
- Evil creeper eyes (mostly still vanilla)
- Mossy cobblestone
- Enchanting table (obsidian changed to match new obsidian)
- Sand
- Snow (block and layer)
- Mob spawner
- Tall Grass
- Mushrooms
- Flowers
- Spruce wood planks
- Leather armor items (only the items, not the armor itself). 12w41a style, sorta
- Golden apple, like the classic Apple logo. I'm an Apple fan, don't hate me.
- Diamond
- Coal (want to redo this one)
- Oak leaves
- Stone slabs
- Wood door item
- Command block
- Birch wood planks
- Jungle wood planks (needs revised)
- On and off repeater
- Mycelium
- Fixed the beacon
- Emerald to look like the Ruby (temporary)
- Pickaxes (minus iron)
- Swords (minus iron)
- Redstone item (needs minor placement revision to look better on the inventory bar)
Almost all of those I have new plans for. My immediate to-do list:
- Work on other leaves
- Ore blocks
- Work on the other ore items
- Work on all logs and leaves
- Work on smooth stone brick
- Work on normal brick
- Obviously, work on more blocks

- Fixed beacon
- Changed TNT to have a plank-look
- Added on and off repeaters
- Added wood, stone, gold and diamond swords. Reason for gnarly looking gold sword is because Zombie Pigmen are the ones who wield gold swords the most, not users.
- Added wood, stone, gold and diamond pickaxes
- Changed the diamond item back to look like the diamond ore
- Added jungle and birch wood planks. Jungle needs some revision though
- Added emerald temporarily, just made it look like the ruby

- Changed brightness and contrast on cobblestone, so it doesn't stick out against stone so bad
- Added mossy cobblestone; probably will be revised later
- Few other minor changes
0.1.4.6:
- Redid all the ores
- Added obsidian
- Added bedrock
- Added iron door (vanilla, but with bars)
- Added oak log side and top
- Fixed grass on the side of dirt to match biome shade
- Redid TNT
- Fixed glass to be completely clear (except for border)
- Moved nails in oak planks to the center of the block
- Made the creeper's eyes look evil.
0.1.3:
- Whited out TNT because the 0.1.1 was horrible.
- Fixed stone texture, might revise it slightly more.
- Removed a line of nails from oak planks, and made them a lighter shade of gray.
- Brightened up the grass texture, still needs work though.
- Added more fine details to oak planks.
