The new spyglass was recently added. I was inspired by this Reddit post on r/Minecraft to try create a telescope for myself. I hope you guys like it. Let me know if there is something wrong or if you have any suggestions!



! Sadly, this telescope is purely decorative. It does not work !

! For the custom recipe, check the third slide of this page. The planks are spruce planks !
!Put the telescope item you crafted inside an Item Frame on the ground!
I highly recommend a data pack that can make item frames invisible (see this great example)!

Contains:
- new telescope model and texture;
- changes to most of the en_**.lang files (from Jigsaw to Telescope);
- optionally: a data pack that adds a custom recipe for your telescopes!
- changes to the spyglass_in_hand model;
- changes to the spyglass textures;
- changes to the spyglass scope.

Use this pack however you want!
Make sure to give credit where credit is due.

I hope so too! I also hope they give those amethyst crystals more use. They would be boring if its only use was to craft a telescope.
