This is the 16x bit version of ToaCraft. ToaCraft is a texturepack based on the first generation of the LEGO Bionicle franchise. Set in a science fantasy universe featuring part-organic, part-machine sapient beings, the story's narrative chronicles the adventures of heroic beings called Toa as they fight against the many evils of their world in order to protect a widespread populace known as the Matoran.

The reason I picked the Makuta's to be creepers was the Phantoka Makuta characters having the Tridax Pods.
It felt kind of fitting for them.

Pardon my suggestion, but I think it'd be sweet if you made the fishing rod into the Volo Lutu Launcher from Tales Of The Tohunga/Quest For The Toa.  Also, the pistons should be styled like Bohrok, sticky pistons would be Bohrok with krana, and normal pistons would be krana-less bohrok.  The pistons also jut out, similar to that of the bohrok  neck.

even though your idea for the Pistons is really good, the Bohrok are already slimes and magmacube.

The Creepers are Phantoka Makuta's but the Slimes are Bohrok :p
