Hey, dumb question do the fishes drop the same variant as it was instead of the cod texture. And if they don’t could you make them, if you want ofc.

They do not. If I could I would make that happen. However I believe Optifine does not have that capability yet.

I noticed that the custom cod models only works in river biome while spawning cod in ocean only gives them the vanilla texture. I play in 1.19 idk if that's normal or not

try again now, I removed biome dependency for skins.
