Finally after many years of searching for water cauldron fix on resource packs without mods I finally figured it out myself fixing the water cauldron model textures not being translucent!

This Resource pack fixes the water cauldron not being translucent and this is my first simple resource pack I made

Will not work below 1.17!

REQUIRES OPTIFINE

if you look at it from the inside, only the bottom and west sides of the cauldron are rendered

im pretty sure you can fix it by just adding 3 extra elemtns to the model on these sides

might be a sodium bug tho

Yep it's a known bug and even if I added some element to it the model still won't render, it might be a translucent rendering issues when that model won't render behind it

Hi! I'm having an issue where the bottom of the cauldron isn't rendering?

Seems fine to me, make sure you put the resource pack at the top and use the right version.

If it still an issue I can't fix that, that might be optifine's rendering bug
