They're crystals, right? So why are they still solid? (I don't care about the chemical structure let me have this)

Either makes it 20% more transparent, or makes the material behind it clearer
(Totems' eyes will have a slight yellow tint, because there's gold behind them, the sticks in diamond tool heads are visible)

Edges are more transparent than the center because logic. unless the items are actually flat uhh

Diamond armor models, amethyst clusters and blocks don't really want to be like the other kids, so they'll stay solid for now.
By now I mean forever.

For this one, I used an image editor. The eraser has opacity settings, so I can choose how much i want to erase :)
