Hi, i don't know why but i do have CIT installed and it doesn't work (I am on lunar client and on 1.20.4) Any chances you could help?

Sorry, I'm really new to resource packs so these might be dumb questions.

If I wanted to replace the carved pumpkin, exactly what file do I need to rename to "V1"? Also, do I need to change the pack_format to 22 or is it supposed to be kept at 15?

the filepath for metadata is assets\minecraft\optifine\cit\vumo.properties - change the matchItems tag in the second line of the file to whatever item(s) you want, provided it's formatted by their in-game value (ex Carved Pumpkin -> carved_pumpkin). you can do this for any .properties file in any generic text editor, like notepad - ignore any warnings that might pop up from editing an unknown filetype, the data reads fine.

i personally havent changed the pack format at all but you probably can - it shouldn't cause any issues!

Thank you for answering! Turns out I just didn't understand how CIT worked in general but now I do and everything works well! The little guys are adorable. Thanks.

Hi there! The mod seems to be a tad bit broken for me. Whenever I place it down it reverts back to the Carved Pumpkin. It works in item frames though. Are there any mods that could be affecting it?

this is unfortunately an issue with the game itself - blocks lose any tag data like names when placed. hence they sit in item frames - you can use a datapack to make the frame invisible and decorate that way, though its not perfect
