Mobs Now Blink!

Requires Traben's Entity Texture Features (ETF) mod to work


Using the ETF mod, this pack makes every mob that should blink, blink periodically. It happens very quick (I couldn't get pictures), but makes your world feel that much more alive. Mobs that fall asleep such as Villagers will also have their eyes closed too.

Whenever possible, I sourced textures from Minecraft Dungeons, Earth or any other official media where mobs close their eyes.

Here's a list of mobs that DON'T blink:
  • Axolotl
  • Cod
  • Salmon
  • Tropical Fish
  • Pufferfish
  • Copper Golem
  • Snow Golem
  • Iron Golem
  • Tadpole
  • Slime
  • Sulfur Cube
  • Magma Cube
  • Creeper
  • Creaking
  • Shulker
  • Ghast
  • Happy Ghast
  • Guardian
  • Elder Guardian
  • Silverfish
  • Warden
  • Ender Dragon
  • All undead mobs (Zombies and Skeletons blink in MC Earth, however I felt that was weird and left it out)

Why does this need a mod ? can't you give them an animated texture ? or dose that work only on blocks and items ?

you can't give a normally still texture an animated texture without the mod, because animated textures need special code to work

Fixed! Vanilla being in the title was an afterthought, I didn't even consider that it might mislead anyone. Sorry about that, thanks for pointing that out for me.
