Connected sandstone using cullfacing - meaning it works completely in vanilla. For normal and red sand, full blocks as well as stairs, slabs and walls automatically connect (and unlike Optifine, the 'shelf' atop sandstone blocks is incorporated into the design of slabs and stairs).

Feel free to use as a server pack, &c, and you're welcome to use and distribute in your own resourcepack if attribution is provided.

cause its alot of work compared to just relying on optifine. there's also tons more things you can do by just using optifine.
