Changes the spawn egg textures established in 25w08a to be less visually noisy, a simple, sleek egg with the mob's face instead of adding 8 extraneous details that result in a large and clunky item texture. Helps keep the creative inventory looking nicer and cleaner!

These are perhaps less 'flashy' but definitely easier on the eyes, as well as keeping a uniform size/shape to make it clearer to players that these are all Variants of the same item.

If you like this, please share! I'll be updating this whenever Minecraft adds new spawn eggs, but it'd mean the world to me to know other people are using these silly little textures I made. :3

first time in my life ive seen the minecraft community not universally complain about something and its about the ugliest first-thought textures ive ever seen. They look like they were designed by someone making an optifine resource pack in 2017 for bullshit overcomplicated weapon textures



im not saying mine are perfect but at least they know how to utilize a 16x16 texture without going overboard. i'll take a simple, easy to read icon of the mob's face over Egg Ears and Egg Snout and Egg Water Ring any day

nah i did it great, and understood it perfectly



not understanding the style of minecraft would be giant inflated textures stretching all the way to the border of the item box just to make sure that we get the Egg Snout in there

I feel like the shulker would work more if the face parts extended to the sides as well. also what the hell is that second egg

the second egg is the Armadillo. That's what it looks like



And I tried that with the Shulker, but ultimately Wide Shulker looked a lot weirder than this current version
