My pc wouldn't be able to handle a 1024x1024 texturepack. Anyway, I have problems with insufficient antialising (resulting in extra noise) with just a 512x512 texturepack.

1024x1024 is no longer possible as it will decrease until 512x as the update to 1.7 is a major High Level Security Stuff . xD it's like you need to design a new minecraft if u wannna use 1024x
