The Wispy Villager pack simply gives villagers of all types a new, cute look with hats-- plus Illagers, Iron Golems and a few other mobs are in this too...and a bunch of other stuff too!


This pack has its own language, named "Wispy Villagers and Fantasy Creatures".
If not already turned on when the pack is selected, you can find it in Minecraft's language option. The language changes everything relating to llamas and chickens, to hippogriffs and cockatrice.


Side Note!
This pack uses alternate textures, which requires Optifine. You can still use the pack without Optifine just fine.
To be able to see the custom sky, Optifine is required for it to work! If the sky does not work in-game, your setting for it may be off. You can find it in video settings>quality>custom sky.


Note from the creator (2024):
This pack will no longer be updated or added on to. BUT I do plan to make a new texture pack with a lot of fun fantasy things like this one. :)

Added textures:
  • Fairies replacing bees
  • chainmail armor model, leather armor model, gold armor model, diamond armor model and netherite armor model
  • all sword, axe, pickaxe, shovel and hoe variants (wood, stone, iron, gold, diamond and netherite)
  • blocks: beehive and bee nest
  • item: honey bottle, helmet variants, chestplate variants, legging variants, boot variants, stick, iron ingot, iron nugget, gold ingot, gold nugget, diamond, netherite ingot
Added sounds:
  • new sounds for bees(fairies)
  • new sounds for beehives
Updated custom language

Been a while since I commented, but I got a small little idea I think fits the theme of this pack.

You could turn bees into little, flying balls of magical energy, with little, crystalline wings.

The honey could be turned into some different, more magical item if you wish, but it's all up to you like always.

Each update you put out is just stunning! I can't thank you enough for making this. I saw that somebody suggested turning horses into drakes and I agree that it would be really cool! Maybe horses could become a pegasus or unicorn so that they keep that 'horse' feel and the donkeys could be drakes? Although breeding them to get a mule would be... confusing lol.

Another mob I think you could make great work of is the creeper! I've seen somebody else turn them into mushrooms but would love to see your interpretation of that concept. Also maybe piglins could be made into orcs? Regardless, I can't wait to see what you do in the future :)

I've had the idea of piglins being orcs too, definitely on the list of things to do. The idea of creepers being mushrooms sounds comical, since some mushrooms do pop and release spores. Something I'll look into!

The custom night sky is stunning, it reminds me a bit of Saturn's rings! It's color palette turns into grayscale on some shaders, but I guess that's just the shader's fault.

The cockatrices are adorable, I'm glad my suggestion was useful! Speaking of suggestions, maybe turning horses, donkeys and mules into dragons? Or at least drakes, since horses have no wings. It's all up to you though!

Keep up the amazing work and don't forget to take breaks once in a while! 🌺

I absolutely love the drake idea. I did want to try to figure out how to put in more dragons besides the ender dragon itself. More fun creatures the better.

At the moment, the pack changes all things that say "llama" to "hippogriff". This includes subtitles and spawn eggs.

The dye flasks are amazing! Every color has a unique shape, which looks really interesting when you collect them all and keep in one chest. Amazing work as always!

This is amazing! It really adds a different flavor to the game. unlike a lot of people here, I would love to see this pack grow to include more and more textures, it certainly has a very unique feel. do you normally pair it with any other texture packs to help it blend in more?
