And in case of armor and armor trims specifically, i will probably not do them anytime soon since the idea i would want to realize is incredibly tedious and i dont even know if it is possible, since the default way armor trims work is just a big "screw you" for any artist.
I would need to use CIT to uniquely seperate every combination of armor, trim and clolor, for example the end result could be: iron armor + shaper trim + redstone color = crusader armor.
So i basicly would need to design hundreds of custom armors, which i could but it would probably take up months on its own.
