The Great Pillager War (1.14 - 1.18)


Belligerents:


Illager Forces:

Standard pillagers have traded in their leather armor and crossbows for steel helmets and bolt-action rifles.

Vindicators have gained a new look, with a steel chestplate and armored goggles similar to those used by early tank crews.

Evokers don a ceremonial Pickelhaube (or at least my best attempt at one), in order to stand out from the lowly troops.

Witches wear a similar helmet to Evokers, as well as a gas mask to protect themselves from their poison attacks.


Villager Alliance:

The villagers have been improving their arsenal as well. Born in factories, delivered by engineers, immune to the bullets of the regular soldier, unbothered by the burdens of the land: The Iron Golem Mark II. Inspired by British tanks and experimental armored suits from the first world war, the venerable Iron Golem has received an upgrade in the form of extra armor plates and identification markings on the shoulders in order to tell different units apart when fighting against the Illagers.





I don't really know why I made this, but I did, and here it is. I made an attempt to keep everything as close as I could to the original aesthetic of Minecraft, while making a wacky WWI texture pack. You be the judge though, lol.
