Description

Hi, so sorry if this may come of as rude... But I honestly think that PMC has one of the oldest way of uploading images ever...
I mean it does not matter if you are posting a blog or review or a project for that matter. everyone wants to add a few images. However you have to literally add them one by one... Add one, save, upload file, add image, save... etc etc...
Why can't we just have a drag and drop system that is way faster. Or at least be able to select more then one image at a time. Many websites have this nowadays.
I think it would be a nice addition to PMC.

Not sure what the aim is for release date. We've got a few different new features scattered around, dunno when anything is planned exactly though.

You are absolutely right. Well it does sound excellent. Can't wait to try it out. :)

It's not worth arguing about. I've already made a new uploader, it just needs a bit of polishing before prime-time. The uploader is based on the one used on Imgur, and will queue up all the images you need/want, even from different sources.

I honestly get your opinion and it is legit and fine. It is your feelings on that but as for someone like me who wants to upload projects regularly which all have plenty of pictures it is just super annoying I have to do it one by one. First add one, hit save, wait for it to be uploaded, click add another, add it, save, wait for upload and repeat and repeat... If you can just do this at once and not have to intervene so much between every action it would just be so much better. Especially since now all other websites have this: fb, linkedin, photobucket, etc, etc...

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind an improved uploading system at all. But I think you're making it sound way worse than it is, the current system is IMO decent enough.

I see now what you mean but it does not solve the problem. Yes you can drag the picture in and hit save but again you have to do it one by one, which is the point of this ticket Pepijn...

Then you're not doing it right. Has always worked for me.

Also the point here is not about the time it is a bout the convenience and the effort. It is just super annoying you have do it one by one. If you can just select it all, upload at once and just let it do its thing it would be so much better.

I have tried that and if I do that it just opens the screenshot in the browser. It does not upload it...

Drag and drop http://prntscr.com/bh9pqf

About selecting multiple images at once and then uploading, instead of uploading one by one. It will still take the same amount of time, because it needs to upload the same amount of data. Might be a bit better because you can do other stuff while it's uploading, but honestly it really doesn't take that long to do it one by one (not for me at least).
