Datapack Checker

IDK if datapacks have greenlight too, but we would need a control to avoid mass spam of OP Datapacks. As I good remember, the option was by skins(one guy's skin got taken down due the control)
These packs are considered as cheating and make it harder to be seen/support good quality pack makers.

It should stop the XP Farming and spam.

Let me explain, lets say you dont like the colour blue and the colour red is more famous, would you go stop the colour red because some people like it but not you? You cant just stop something because you dont like it, let the trend get over by itself its not your world where only things you like are allowed.

Nice Point, but the datapack spam is much different tbh
It's like with the cheaters by other things like CS:GO
CSGO players got punished and now the game is really hard to play without paying(from the other side, it's good cus the cheaters can stop)
The same can appear with MC, mojang could make an update that could stop the problem, but could also hurt these that made good packs(like you cannot change drops or give drops from blocks or worse) - I know that my example "is taken from *ss", but the thing is just making it worse to be appreciated for making quality stuff, copypasta/10 minutes is more appreciated and liked

And the OP stuff is just farming attention than being useful

Changes to the datapack section have been made some time ago to reduce the impact of OP loot and other “trendy” packs. Admins have decided not to act further for now.

Not sure how the greenlight system works.... does it only apply for lower level users or something?

But IIRC aren't texture packs and/or skins sometimes removed for lacking original content or sthn? If so, I think that should be applied in the case of low-effort data packs that are overdone as well (not all low-effort ones, just the ones that have been done a dozen times already)
