Welcome to this week’s interview! Today I will be interviewing the lovely kurakosmos! She is an inspiration for many skinners, including myself!

1. What inspired you to start making Minecraft skins?
1. well, a long time ago, i was probably about 8 or 10, i started to play minecraft servers like hypixel and things like that. i realized that people had some really cool skins, and i had no idea how to get different skins at the time (i was just playing as alex lol). so soon i figured out how to edit the skin files in ms paint, and the first "skin" i ever made was a weird rainbow... thing ?? lol, anyway, i used ms paint to edit the alex skin file. i thought it was the coolest thing at the time, and i wanted to try and make other types of skins too ! so i did some looking around, and i found skindex. skindex was the first mc skin platform i used to make + upload skins. i learned how to start making skins from there, and got insperation from various users there too ! then, like 3 years later, i moved to here c: so i guess the real inspo behind me making skins and getting to where i am now was the fact that i really wanted to have a cool in-game skin like everyone else lol cx
2. What is the inspiration behind your username?
2. ok, so originally my username was "sakuraa", but since that was really unoriginal, i wanted to change it. i love sakura trees, i think they're really aesthetic, and it kinda fits my overall aesthetic and vibe. so i took the "kura" part of the word, and that's my "name" here ! so one of my most favorite bts songs is mikrokosmos, and i took that and mashed it together with my name, and got kurakosmos ! it fit so well that i couldn't /not/ use it cx
3. What’s your favorite skin that you have made?
3. as of now, this skin is my favorite ! uwu
4. What advice would you give to a new skinner?
4. never give up ! there were times when i thought i was never gonna improve, and i just wanted to stop all together. but keep going ! you will get there, it takes time. i've been skinning for about 4/5 years now, and i still have a lot to improve on. everyone does. just do your best, and keep going ♥
5. Do you have inspirations? If you do, what do you like about them?
5. oooh, well skin wise, pbs, Ouchy, Angel, and Rhines are all my inspo ! i love there palettes, shading, and skin designs ♥ in real life, this is gonna sound super cheesy, but bts are my inspo for my everyday life ! i could go on a huuuge rant about it, but they are super cool and inspirational guys c: they've kinda taught me to love myself (one of their albums is dedicated to that !)
6. What is your best memory here at PMC?
6. hmm, tbh i don't even remember what i did on here yesterday lmao. let's see, i guess my best memory is when i first joined pmc, and everyone was so welcoming and kind, very different compared to skindex, which i was used to back then.
7. What is your dream job?
7. ooooh ! so at first i wanted to go into the graphic design field, however, after taking a collage class for it, i decided against it. i now hope to become a tattoo artist c:
8. How would you describe yourself?
8. uuuh, hm, weird, awkward, introverted, quirky. yeah, im super weird irl lol cx
9. Do you have any other interests other than skinning?
9. drawing ! and writing uwu
10. Do you have a favorite Youtuber? If so, Who is it?
10. i don't watch youtube, so idrk any youtubers heh. i watch bangtantv/bangtanbombs if that count lmao c:
11. Do you have a persona? If yes, what inspired you to create it/them?
11. yup, her name is lilliahn ! ♥ she's a bat/human hybrid. i love bats, i think they're my fav animal tbh, so i made her have bat ears/wings/fangs. i also love the whole vampire concept, i think vampires are super cool uwu purple and green is my fav color combo and my favorite colors ! so that's her color palette. and as for outfit, i like the 90s/80s, vaporwave aesthetics a lot, so her outfit is based off of that !
12. Do you have a favourite band/singer? If so, what's your favourite song by them/her/him?
12. well, if you couldn't tell, bts is my fav group hehe cx my favorite song from them is a tie between spring day, mikrokosmos, blood sweat and tears, and singularity ♥
