Hello!!!
Are you having trouble installing mods and forge for 1.6.2?
You've come to the right place, then!
WARNING: IF YOU HAVE INSTALLED OPTIFINE BEFORE TRYING THIS TUTORIAL, IT WILL NOT WORK. YOU MUST INSTALL OPTIFINE AFTERINSTALLING FORGE AND ALL YOUR MODS. THANK YOU.
First off, you need to go to the forge website and download the installer.
You should be downloading the installer of the latest version, or recommended version.Then open it, and click the button that says 'OK'. Then it should install forge, it might not be super quick, but it will install. Once its done it should say
'Succesfully installed client profile for Forge' and blah blah blah, if it says succesfully installed, then open up your 1.6.2 launcher and click 'edit profile'
and 'Use version' and find one that says something with Forge in it. Then save the profile and click 'Play', and once it goes to the title screen it should say 3 mods, and there will be a mods button. Then you can go into your .minecraft and put mods in the mods folder, and play and enjoy your mods!!
