Here are suggestions that I think Mojang should add:
1 - Skeletons should be afraid of wolves. [It's common sense. Dogs like bones. *hint hint*] Added
Where's my credit for that, Mojang?
2 - Blocking with a sword can deflect arrows, push back zombies and spiders, and shield some damage from explosions. Shields
3 - Bulls, rams, and worthogs to protect herds of cows, sheep, and pigs, respectively. (Bulls and worthogs protect their herds from the player, while rams protect their herd from the player AND wolves.) [Similar to how iron golems protect villagers from zombies and other hostile mobs.]
4 - Creepers should have an extremely slight chance of not exploding. (These 'duds' then slowly walk way with their heads down in shame.)
5 - Better looking infant mobs. [I recommend something similar to the Baby Animal Model Swapper Mod.]
6 - A way to create chainmail armour without the use of creative mode.
7 - Better animations. (Swimming & climbing ladders.)
8 - Character model options. (Male/Female) Added
9 - More preset skins for premium players.
10 - Bring back Herobrine for the Final Fight. (After defeating the Enderdragon, get the egg, after the credits bring it back to your home. After 6 hours and 30 minutes (that's roughly a month in Minecraft time), the egg will hatch a small dragon (about half the size of the original Enderdragon), which is automatically tamed, you sadle up and take to the skies. Fly above the clouds where building is no longer possible. After a while, the undead Enderdragon (skeleton) will burst through the clouds from below, riding it is Herobrine. It'll show a short cutscene (camera goes third-person and follows Herobrine and the Enderdragon as they fly ahead of you), and the Final Fight begins. The Enderdragon attacks with head-on collisions and flame charges, and its massive healthbar is displayed once again. After knocking it down with arrows, and well-timed sword strikes (when it dives at you), the game will show a cutscene as the Enderdragon explodes in the lovely ending death animation you saw earlier, and Herobrine falls and is lost under the clouds. You continue to fly as more credits start rolling, this time finishing the story. After the final credits, it fades to white, the Mojang logo appears, and then you're back at the main menu. You go back to that map, "Achievement Get! Game Over." Fact is, the game is never over as long as you have to will to continue playing.
#10 is something I came up with myself. If I see this used anywhere, I would like the credit I deserve given to me. That goes for #1, 3, and 4 as well.

I say it can't be done, but that might just be the cynic in me.
