How To Minecraft Pixelmon!
So I was asked a little while ago I was asked to give a small tutorial on Pixelmon.
I will give you some tips and tricks but remember you have to have the Pixelmon mod installed first of all!

TIP NUMBER ONE
Choose your starter Pokemon, I usually pick Mudkip but its your Pokemon to train!
If your new to Pokemon/Pixelmon I recommend either Turtwig Or Mudkip Seeing as swampert has the highest
base stat total of all starters and Torterra is the strongest grass type starter!
If you really don't care about your Pokemon's strength,speed defense ect. choose whatever one you want
TIP NUMBER TWO
To start your Pixelmon journey you will need the usual lets play essentials! Like wood, starter tools ect. After you should
go mining and try to find diamonds to make yourself a healing bench and a hammer to make Pokeballs. After mining you
might want to consider building a shelter to sleep and work in!
TIP NUMBER THREE
After your first day of your journey you'll want to start to look for apricorns, apricorns are essential to make Pokeballs,
unless you don't want to catch pokemon. Apricorns are most commonly found in forests but in the 1.8 build you can also
find them in roofed forests! After you find all seven colors of apricorns( Black,White,Green,Yellow,Red Ect.), go back to your base and find or make a reasonably sized flat area and then right-click the ground to plant the apricorn, There are 4 or 5 stages of growth( I cant remember xD) After you gather all of them you can cook them and then use the cooked apricorns to make new pokeballs! This is optional but you can make a Wailmer pail
and use it as a infinate source of bonemeal! ( note you can only us the pail once each day)

TIP NUMBER FOUR
After you make new kinds of pokeballs you can go exploring and catch all kinds of new pokemon!
Note that legendarys don't need masterballs to be caught but rather its easier to us oine on them because they won't break out. Masterballs are not craftable at the moment and aren't planned to be so you'll have to find one
in a grotto tree or in a pokeloot chest found widely across the world. Pokeloot chests are invisible and have white particles emitting from them, but note that some are not invisisble and rather look like a normal Pokeball like in the games.
when you find them, right click them and you'll get a random yet useful item!, or TM's and HM's. Some pokemon that may be higher level then you may need to engage in battle and lose a good amount of health to be caught. Once they have around 10-1 HP left you can then throw a pokeball at them.

Normal Pokeball - x1
Great Ball- 1.5
Ultra Ball - 2x
MasterBall- ALWAYS CATCHES POKEMON
Safari Ball- Only works in safari zones
Level Ball- depends on your pokemons level
Lure Ball- Same as normal ball unless your fishing
Moon ball- Always 1× due to a glitch
Friend Ball- Same as normal ball
Love Ball-8× only if used on a Pokémon of the same species and gender as the player's Pokémon 8× only if used on a Pokémon of the same species as, but opposite gender of, the player's Pokémon
Heavy Ball- 20 if used on Pokémon weighing less than 225.8 lbs. (102.4 kg)/451.5 lbs. (204.8 kg)No modifier if used on Pokémon weighing between 225.8 lbs. (102.4 kg) and 451.5 lbs.(204.8 kg+20 if used on Pokémon weighing between 451.5 lbs. (204.8 kg) and 677.3 lbs. (307.2 kg)+30 if used on Pokémon weighing between 677.3 lbs. (307.2 kg) and 903.0 lbs. aren't in your party! After you store Pokemon and swith them out you'll be able to create your team of strong,fast,ridable,
cute and ghastly pokemon you'll be ready to start your journey to...
