Hey PMC! I am here today to give you a little help when designing your fort, castle, or just heavily protected structure!! This will be a series of walls that you can put around your fort!
You might recognize this first design in regular Castles. They where designed so you could get clear shots and defense at the same time! Lets start with your basic design.
Don't take it wrong! I love this design! but it is a trouble! All archers can hit you! Putting this on top of your wall with no height is a horrible idea! Unless you plan to lose don't use it! They can (And Will) hit you from every angle possible... I would be scared if I were you!!
Now lets take a look at something better!!
Ok, This is a little better than that "thing" up there! This gives you more defense, it helps with blocking arrows because they can't take out legs and you can hide behind the posts! Not only will this add a few more seconds to your life span this will more than likely get you close to winning the war!
Ok out of the 3 this coming up one is my personal favorite. Gives so much choice to designing it and keeping safe.
This is the best one so far. Because of the half steps on top of the block, and the double half steps to the side means that basically NO arrows will hit you. Maybe the few skilled pro's will hit you. But they are pro's!!!! That one half step stops the arrow at its tracks! First of all. Your wall will probably be pretty high, so it Is already hard to hit you! But you every try trying to hit someone through half a block??? Hard! But always make sure you have those Half Blocks (Slabs) on the ground! Otherwise the wall will be too high! Also if someone does try hitting you? You can just run behind those double slabs!! Protection to it's max! and if someone does decide they want to try and attack you. Feel free to set up some TNT cannons, they might be helpful!!
Plus this wall can let you get a little creative. Maybe make the gaps a little bigger!
