A while ago, a guy named CraftedJerk made a blog called, "Tips and tricks you may not know about Minecraft", and it was so epic to me, that i've spent a while figuring out some facts to make my own blog. A big shout-out to you, CraftedJerk! :D

1. All mobs can ride in minecarts! Blazes, Zombie, Squids... even Ghasts! :D
2. If you put a saddled pig in a minecart, and the minecart is off a track, you can ride it around like a car! Slightly slow, and the controls are backwards, but still fun. :3
3. If you punch another block and continue punching, but move your cursor onto a dragon egg, it will drop the egg as an item! You can also use a piston. :D
4. If you put stairs, half slabs, leaves, glass, glowstone, a chest, iron bars or even cake above a chest, you can still open it! Very useful for decorating, as you can hide that it is a stair, and still open chests. :D
5. If you put ice under slow sand, your movement is even slower! Not sure what'd it would be useful for. :S
6. Ice and water are invisible behind ice. Ice is invisible behind water as well.
7. Wolves and Iron Golems are the only mobs that can become hostile on peaceful. You're never safe! *insert evil laugh here* >:3
8. If you do full lines of "~"'s on a sign, the lines will float off the sign. Also works with "@"'s. :D
9. If you climb a ladder and eat at the same time, you won't slow down.
10. Sheep can eat grass through half slabs! Not sure if this is very useful, but fun to see them "eat" rock/wood/brick/sand. :P
(Due to many people thinking I copied a video, [and for good reason] I decided to make a list on how I came about these facts.)
1. I'm an avid redstone-er, and I saw sethbling's football game thing, and I wanted to try the tnt launching pig in minecart thing. As I wondered how to get the pig into a minecart, I tried dropping a pig in from a few blocks above the minecart. It worked, and I tried doing it with other mobs. :D (Took a LOT longer to get ghasts and blazes, though, as they fly. :S)
2. Same as #1, for the pig, except I put a saddle on before dropping the pig into the minecart. ;D
3. I've drowned out the entire end in water before, and so I couldn't help but fool around with the dragon egg, thanks to tmi. I failed a few timed, and kept placing eggs down (in survival mode, btw) and accidentally moved cursor on another block, and moved it onto egg, and it broke as an item. ;D
4. I have a world where I have a shizzle load of cobblestone, so I kept placing chests around my house. It started getting cluttered, and I wanted to put them in the walls to save space (my house is a small cave. ;D) and it just didn't look good, so I tried putting different block over them, and stairs worked. (First item I tried) and so I tried other items.
5. I have google to thank for this. :S
6. Experience with my bowling alley. (Floor = ice) ;D
7. Kinda obvious. .-.
8. I fool around with signs on smp and ssp a lot, so I ended up trying this, and hey, it ended up flying off the sign. xD
9. Making a super high diving board on smp with some admin buddies of mine. Eating on way up. Problem solved.
10. If you know simjoo's massive structures mod, you'll understand this. I'm that guy who came up with an idea for the pen, and so I (as usual) fooled around with it, after getting the thing done. half slabs on the ground, sheep still ate. Pretty simple. :3
